been working out consistently, recently discovered my love of the weight room. been eating pretty well, much more whole foods than before.

the best thing about this time around is I’m not making it a big deal. I’m not counting and tracking intake and output. I’m just working out until I get bored, eating the healthier option- unless I really want the other, taking small steps to be more active in general and not taking it too seriously. That’s the one thing I never did with this. It always had to be a big lifestyle change and I wore different clothes and my routine changed and it’s all I would talk and think about. Now, it’s balanced. I feel better when I do but don’t hate myself if I don’t. There’s excitement to work out and improve, not lose weight and look good. Working out, sweating, feeling it the next day, that’s my main goal. Losing weight and toning up will come with those achievements.

Here is a Science fair project presented by a girl in a secondary school in Sussex . In it she took filtered water and divided it into two parts. The first part she heated to boiling in a pan on the stove, and the second part she heated to boiling in a microwave. Then after cooling she used the water to water two identical plants to see if there would be any difference in the growth between the normal boiled water and the water boiled in a microwave. She was thinking that the structure or energy of the water may be compromised by microwave. As it turned out, even she was amazed at the difference, after the experiment which was repeated by her class mates a number of times and had the same result. It has been known for some years that the problem with microwaved anything is not the radiation people used to worry about, it’s how it corrupts the DNA in the food so the body can not recognize it.Microwaves don’t work different ways on different substances. Whatever you put into the microwave suffers the same destructive process. Microwaves agitate the molecules to move faster and faster. This movement causes friction which denatures the original make-up of the substance. It results in destroyed vitamins, minerals, proteins and generates the new stuff called radiolytic compounds, things that are not found in nature. So the body wraps it in fat cells to protect itself from the dead food or it eliminates it fast. Think of all the Mothers heating up milk in these ‘Safe’ appliances. What about the nurse in Canada that warmed up blood for a transfusion patient and accidentally killed him when the blood went in dead. But the makers say it’s safe. But proof is in the pictures of living plants dying!!!

I’m never using the microwave again

my eating is a joke at this point. and my exercise level is non-existant. I’m moody, spacey and constantly seeking comfort. I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep until I have enough self-motivation to stop hating myself.

eating has been good but not great the past two days. I wasn’t feeling very good yesterday to food wasn’t a priority. I realized at dinner time I had only had some peanuts, a banana and a salad with a tiny bit of pasta. I was too tired from not fueling myself properly, so I went to 7-11 (because my roommate was going) and got a Perrier Sparking Water with POPChips. I wasn’t thinking and thought that would get me through the day, but it only made me hungrier. I remembered I had vegan taquitos in the freezer and even though they aren’t very healthy (though they had a BUNCH of protein & fiber), I made them anyways. That’s the not great part. but the GOOD part, is that I only ate half of them. The typical me would have been like “UGH IT’S GOING TO BE A BAD FOOD NIGHT! EAT SIX TAQUITOS!” but I was restrained and ate half of them and found myself full. I think the sparkling water helped. Today I had a bowl of oatmeal and some coffee for breakfast and had the other half of the taquitos and a big salad for lunch. Not sure on dinner yet, probably something to do with my leftover beans & corn and I should probably use the kale in the refrigerator. I’m in a rambling mood. This should end now.

I am honestly so curious what it feels like to be thin. That’s not what I’m doing this for, obviously, but I’m really pumped to get to a comfortable weight and actually knows what it feels like. I’ve ALWAYS had a lot of weight around my hips, jiggly thighs & arms, a soft stomach. Does it feel different to sleep or to exercise or to shower? What does it feel like when your stomach doesn’t fold three times and your legs don’t expand into each other when you sit?

This is me nearly every single day at lunch. I don’t want to be like “Can we please stop this, it’s INSANELY triggering,” because it’s my workplace and they don’t need to know about my eating issues, but honestly, I don’t know what to do sometimes.
